About
Regina is a neuroscientist-turned-circus artist and performer, specialising in contortion and handbalance. She is trained in many different circus disciplines, including aerial acrobatics, carpet spinning, and partner acrobatics, and has spent time learning from master coaches around the world.
Outside of her performance life, she teaches contortion and manages The Circus Hub in Pōneke/Wellington, New Zealand. Before pursuing her full-time circus career, Regina received an Honours degree in Psychology and a Ph.D in Neuroscience from the University of Otago.
Regina is a versatile performer who creates unique performances that utilise her strength and flexibility and are influenced by her diverse experiences. From contortion on horseback to trapeze by the ocean, Regina finds performance opportunities wherever she goes and lets her passion for movement speak through her body.
